Description

Multilayer bimetal strip CuNi15Zn20-St-CuNi15Zn20, is made of low-carbon steel strip, clad on both sides withcopper-nickel alloy (nickel silver).

Composition

  • Base – low-carbon quality steel, grade DC04 with chemical composition acc. to GOST 9045.
  • Coating – nickelsilver CuNi15Zn20 with chemical composition acc. to GOST492.

The thickness of cladding layers h1 and h2 is the same for both sides and varies from 4 to 6% of the finished strip thickness. Upon customer’s request, the thickness of the cladding layer can be up to 10% on each side.
