Description

Multilayer strip CuNi19-St-CuNi19 is made of low-carbon steel, grade DC04 clad on both sides with copper-nickel alloy – cupronickel CuNi19.

 Composition

  • Base – low-carbon quality steel, grade DC04 with chemical composition acc. to GOST 9045.
  • Coating – cupronickel, grade CuNi19 with chemical composition acc. to GOST 492.

The thickness of cladding layers h1 and h2 is the same for both sides and varies from 4 to 6% of the finished strip thickness. Upon customer’s request, the thickness of the cladding layer can be up to 10% on each side.
